“I can shake off everything as I write; my sorrows disappear, my courage is reborn.”

— Anne Frank

The long and short of it…

I have been writing for as long as I can remember. When I am stressed or when I find the jewels of life called free time, I write. You could say I am a life long writer for an audience of one. I was sliding through life on cruise control when my world was torpedoed with a diagnosis of stage III Colon cancer at the age of 36. Since I write to save my soul, I turned to writing, and a healthy dose of sarcasm with a side of profanity and lo and behold, I came out on the other side a stronger person who still swears like a sailor. Five years later, I returned to those words and I wrote ‘Go Home Cancer, You’re Drunk’ because Cancer is an Asshat and has messed with far too many of my loved ones and probably far too many of yours as well. .
